Edinburgh Films

Edinburgh Films logo

Edinburgh Films is a unique collection of films, covering a wide range of themes. It includes intimate portrayals of life in the city today, as illustrated in Edinburgh's Secret Garden; while at the other extreme there are highly dramatic portrayals of key events in Scottish history, such as The Hour of the Eagle.

The films have increasing archival and nostalgic value. They also appeal to audiences of all ages and to anyone with an interest in Scotland.

The producer of Edinburgh Films, Ian Rintoul, is an independent documentary filmmaker whose films have won international awards, with many shown on television.
